The Blind Pig

Project details

Brand new 1920’s style small bar of the prohibition era. Coming to Perth soon. Little Blind Pig Speakeasy will be hidden behind a functioning barbershop, with the bar only assessable via a hidden entrance inside. We wanted to create a brand that was honest and representative of its speakeasy roots, hence the name ‘The Blind Pig’ a reference used in regards a hidden bar from the 1920’s era. We thought it was important to keep a vintage and stylised 1920’s look to the brand, yet modernise it to still attract and appeal to their target audience of young, city professionals. Using hand-drawn illustrative pig icons, balanced with clean lines, blocked yet rough letterpress style type, we pulled a range of influences and mood boards together to create a fusion of 1920s vintage and city sleek. Website designs coming soon.
